The Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce serves as the collective voice of local business and a central hub for entrepreneurial connection, advocacy, and community development. For decades, we’ve championed a strong, diverse local economy that reflects the distinct character of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the shared values of its people.
 

As an independent, member-driven organization, we’re dedicated to building the right environment for businesses to start, grow, and succeed, from the small boutiques along Queen Street to the farms, wineries, professional services, and creative ventures that make our region thrive.

What We Do

While the Chamber previously managed tourism in Niagara-on-the-Lake, our focus today is fully centered on serving the business community. We do this through five key areas:

Advocacy & Representation

We’re the voice of local business at the table with municipal leaders, regional partners, and provincial representatives. From fair taxation and zoning updates to better transportation and accessibility, we advocate for policies that help local businesses succeed and support the wellbeing of our community.

Recently, our advocacy has focused on improving commercial accessibility and encouraging balanced economic growth that honours Niagara-on-the-Lake’s unique character.

Member Support & Services

Our members enjoy a wide range of benefits designed to boost visibility, strengthen operations, and build meaningful connections. These include :

Events & Community Engagement

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce hosts and supports signature events that celebrate our local culture, businesses, and community spirit. Highlights include:

Partnership & Collaboration

We work closely with other chambers, associations, and regional networks, including the Niagara Chamber Partnership, to strengthen the collective voice of business across the Niagara Region. Through these collaborations, our members gain greater access to shared resources, joint advocacy initiatives, and new opportunities for economic development

Leadership & Economic Vision

Our Chamber is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and an experienced team committed to building a strong future for the Niagara-on-the-Lake business community. Under the leadership of Kathy Weiss and Board Chair David Levesque, we’re focused on renewal, innovation, and deeper engagement with our members.

While we no longer oversee the town’s tourism strategy, we continue to collaborate with tourism partners to ensure that the interests of local businesses remain represented and supported within broader economic planning.
